Small and medium size enterprises prefer reacting to email marketing campaigns flooding their inboxes in a special way. They actually read it, for they know it is going to remain forever in their mail account and can be referred to for future correspondence. The response is rather low if one is willing to talk in favor of telephonic marketing or even in the case of DM recorded piece. The later is strongly supported by reports from SME Voice study conducted by the B2Group and the DMA.
Marketing communications do have various modes, but the most preferred one among them would be in the form of emails. About 80 per cent of the targeted surveyed groups voted for it, while only 28 per cent of the responders thought, a face to face marketing dialogue was always necessary. The DM scores fell by some 50 per cent count during the months of July, august, September and October, indicating increasing preferences for promotional email marketing solutions.
According to working day preferences for receiving promotional mails generated through email marketing software, experts speak largely for Mondays. About 26 to 27 per cent SMEs have also shown interests for receiving such campaigning letters on Wednesdays. The most appropriated time frame of viewership is accounted between 9 to 12 in the morning. About 33 percent regard this to a suitable time. Since they will actually sit and glance through their mail box once at least.
The generated reports are supposed to indicate the presence of dual effects that benefit not only the SMEs, but also the larger corporate segment and the providers of email marketing services. In addition to this the SMEs do enjoy privileges of getting a first hand experience in ways to develop their business acumen, Andrew Colwell opined in support of the conclusions drawn through the survey.
The survey reports were released as an integral part of the launching events organized at Allen & oven, London. The occasion was scheduled at November 24, 2010. The availability of this report in the whitepaper format is a boost all by itself, since the DMA members are going to enjoy a better accessibility to these inferences through download options. The reports uploaded in the B2Group site for online viewers.
