Slane had a self-built mailing list of past customers and addresses they had collected through their site and needed a way to contact these people in a cheap yet effective manner.

As they hadn’t used email marketing to a great extent previously, they also needed a company that could assist them in making the campaigns they sent out have a lasting impact with their subscribers.

Solution

The mailingmanager team looked at Slane’s requirements and created a template that was primarily a sales newsletter but also included additional information to ensure that the whole recipient base was kept engaged in the email, regardless of whether they were looking to purchase anything or not.

With the mailingmanager system behind them, Slane Cycles already had the procedures for email marketing best practices set up for them. With automatic unsubscribe functions in place and feedback loop monitoring included in there package, they were enjoying a great open rate. The mailingmanager deliverability team then created the Authentication package for Slane to ensure that deliverability was further boosted to get the most out of their email marketing activities.
