One of the significant limitations of email marketing is not being able to insert forms into the body of your email. This would be a great feature if it were possible. Forms are often a great way to engage users and elicit a response. So, how can we use this great engagement driving tool in email.
Generally we do not encourage any (even slightly) underhand tactics. However this is just a white lie and is unlikely to cause any problems.
By placing a dummy form in your email you can encourage recipients to attempt to fill it out. The form is in fact simply an image with a link, which links to a webpage with a working form which can be filled out.
We have also seen example using animated GIFs which allow for a blinking cursor, to further increase the visibility of the form.
