Adding custom fields is easy on mailingmanager. The tag follows a standard format. The format is %%fieldname%%. All you do is replace the word fieldname with the name of your field.

For Example: If the field is called First Name, the tag would be %%First Name%%

This makes it simple to add the custom fields into HTML editors like Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Just add the tag into your code where you want the field to appear. Then when imported into mailingmanager, the system upon send will recognise and populate those fields.

Please note that the field will only populate on a live send. It will show as %%First Name%% if sent as a preview or viewed in our inbox testing facility.
